Terms & Conditions

Effective Date: January 1, 2026

Please read these Terms and Conditions carefully before registering for a retreat with Divine Awakenings Healing Connection ("Divine Awakenings," "we," "us," or "our"). By registering and submitting your retainer, you agree to be bound by these terms.

Registration & Retainer

A non-refundable $500 CAD retainer is required to reserve your space in the retreat. This retainer confirms your commitment and removes your spot from availability. Submission of your retainer constitutes acceptance of these Terms and Conditions and the Cancellation Policy outlined on our main retreat page.

Payment

The remaining balance of your retreat investment is due by August 13, 2026. Payment plans are available and will be discussed personally with you following receipt of your retainer and intake form. All payments are processed in Canadian dollars (CAD).

Cancellation Policy

All cancellations must be submitted in writing to kym@divineawakenings.ca. The $500 CAD retainer is non-refundable under all circumstances. For full details on how remaining payments are handled at each stage, please refer to the Cancellation Policy on our main retreat page.

Retreat Modifications

Divine Awakenings reserves the right to make reasonable modifications to the retreat schedule, facilitators, or programming when necessary. Every effort will be made to communicate changes in advance. If the retreat cannot proceed due to circumstances beyond our control (including but not limited to weather, natural disaster, or minimum enrollment not being met), all monies will be fully refunded, including the retainer.

Minimum Enrollment

This retreat requires a minimum number of participants to proceed. If minimum enrollment is not reached, the retreat may be cancelled and all monies will be fully refunded, including the retainer. Every effort will be made to provide reasonable notice.

Health & Participation

By registering, you confirm that you are in suitable health to participate in retreat activities, including gentle movement, nature walks, and creative workshops. You agree to inform us of any health conditions, physical limitations, or dietary requirements that may affect your participation. Divine Awakenings is not responsible for any health-related incidents arising from participation in retreat activities.

Photography & Media

Divine Awakenings may take photographs or video during the retreat for use in future marketing materials. Your participation implies consent unless you notify us in writing prior to the retreat that you do not wish to be photographed. The privacy and dignity of all participants will be respected at all times.

Personal Responsibility

Participants are responsible for their own travel arrangements, travel insurance, and personal belongings. Divine Awakenings strongly recommends travel cancellation insurance. We are not liable for loss, theft, or damage to personal property during the retreat.

Conduct

We are committed to maintaining a safe, respectful, and nurturing environment for all participants. Divine Awakenings reserves the right to ask any participant to leave the retreat if their conduct is deemed harmful or disruptive to others, without refund.

Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Divine Awakenings Healing Connection shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising out of or related to your participation in the retreat or use of our website.

Governing Law

These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of the Province of British Columbia, Canada. Any disputes arising under these terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of British Columbia.
